I always have a minimum of three jars of peanut butter on hand at any given time. You can say that I love it. So it is absolutely unsurprising that I have accumulated a vast number of incredibly delicious peanut butter recipes on this website over the years! There are also a ton of peanut butter recipes in my cookbook.

Can I use different kinds of nut butter in these recipes?
Yes, absolutely! While all of these are peanut butter-based recipes, if you have an allergy, preference, or just like to switch it up, you can use any of the following nut or seed butter instead:
- Almond Butter
- Cashew Butter
- Pecan Butter
- Sunflower Seed Butter
- Tahini
Of course, each of these will change the flavor and maybe the texture a bit. They should all work great and allow you to experiment with customizing recipes to your own tastes!
What’s the best kind of peanut butter for baking?
I personally like using peanut butter that is creamy and made from 100% peanuts. You can use one with salt added, but unsalted is generally better for baking because then you can control the amount of salt added. I avoid peanut butter that uses any hydrogenated oils or fillers. Some of my favorite peanut butter brands for baking with are Santa Cruz Organic, Kirkland Organic Peanut Butter (this one is salted), and Spread The Love (this one is best when you need a thinner peanut butter). These options all work great in these peanut butter recipes.
Make sure to stir your peanut butter well before using it! When using pure peanut butter, it can have the tendency to separate. You want to make sure to completely incorporate the peanut butter and the oil so it has a completely uniform consistency before using it in recipes. Otherwise, it may turn out too oily or dry.
