These Easy Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bites take just five minutes to make and are the perfect super easy snack! Made with just seven ingredients, these peanut butter bites are super customizable, gluten-free, vegan, and absolutely delicious.

We love a good easy gluten-free snack around here! And these easy peanut butter oatmeal bites are one of the easiest and most delicious snack bites I’ve made since these Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites…or maybe these Red Velvet Cookie Dough Bites ;)
With just seven ingredients, these bites are super easy to make. They’re perfect for serving to those who are a bit pickier, or who have allergies too since they’re naturally:
- Gluten-Free
- Vegan & Dairy-Free
- Refined Sugar-Free
- Easy to make nut-free
- Ready in 5 minutes
- Super delicious!

Here’s what you need to make these oatmeal bites:
- Peanut Butter: or just the nut butter of your choice! You can also use a seed butter to keep these nut-free. I used a crunchy peanut butter for a little extra texture.
- Maple Syrup: as our refined sugar free sweetener. You can also use honey (not vegan, though) or date syrup.
- Gluten-Free Rolled Oats: these add such a delicious texture to the bites.
- Gluten-Free Oat Flour: this helps hold our bites together. You can use almond flour here too if preferred.
- Vanilla Extract, Cinnamon & Salt: our flavor agents! These all add delicious extra flavor to our bites. Skip or reduce the salt if you’re using a salted nut butter.
Putting these bites together couldn’t be simpler either – just stir together all of the ingredients, divide the dough into about 15 balls (I love using my OXO small cookie scoop for this), roll them into perfectly round balls, and devour!
Want to jazz them up a bit? Try adding some mini chocolate chips to the mix, or drizzle the finished bites with dark chocolate!

To store:
You can eat these immediately, but if you have some leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
They’re so great to have on hand when you need a quick pick-me-up, and because they’re made with peanut butter, they’re loaded with healthy fats to help keep you full!

I’ve made these TWICE in 24 hours!!!! They are dangerously simple and dangerously delicious….
I used half almond butter the second time because I ran out of PB, and they were also delish.
It helps to wet your hands before rolling the dough, esp if you don’t have a cookie scoop (I just used a regular old spoon). I also popped them in the freezer for about 30 mins after making so that they became firmer.
Def going into the rotation for when I’m craving something sweet and chewy in the afternoon!
So so glad you’re loving them!!! Thanks so much for the feedback Amelia :D
I made these while I was waiting for muffins to bake. Simple. My daughter and I loved them. I shared them at work and they were a hit. Thank you!
So glad you loved them!! Thanks Theresa :)
Another review said that she made these twice in 24 hours. I made them twice in 1 hour (not that this is a competition :) ) Once I tasted these I knew I would have to make them again and didn’t want to do cleanup twice. These are way to nummy and super easy to make. Addicting!!!!!!!!!
Haha, I love it!! So glad you’re loving them, Nancy.
We’re obsessed with these. So easy, so good. I love adding mini chocolate chips!!
So glad you’re loving them!
Sooooo good! Thank you for sharing. I was tempted to make two or three batches, but I don’t trust myself around these after trying one…
Haha I understand the struggle!! Glad you’re enjoying them :)
P.S. Forgot to leave a rating….!
Delicious and easy! I’m a college student and I’ve started bringing a chilled container of a few of these to campus every day for an easy snack with protein! For the maple syrup/honey, I’ve started using cinnamon creamed honey from my local farmers market. If you have access to something similar, I really recommend using it because it elevates the flavor from great to EPIC! I exclude the additional cinnamon when I use it. Thanks for the recipe!
Oooh that sounds so fabulous, thanks so much for the tip, Freddie! So glad you’re loving the recipe.
