I’m just a week ahead of Thanksgiving with the over-eating.

Monica from The Movement Menu came over to my apartment today to do some baking and photo-shooting together, and as soon as she arrived and saw the restaurant that’s in my building, she insisted we go there later for dinner. I’m already a frequent patron of theirs and happily obliged. [Read more…]

Pretty darn close to my dream apartment.

You see, I’ve been living in San Diego since June. Everyone kept asking me when I’m moving out and getting my own place, and I would begrudgingly complain about how expensive & crappy the rental market was, especially because I was looking for a place with a decent kitchen and a dishwasher. At the end of May, I moved from Seattle to San Diego via a week long road trip down the West Coast, closely followed by three weeks cruising around Europe. As if that wasn’t enough, this past weekend I went back up to Seattle to attend Pemberton music festival near Whistler in British Colombia with my friends.

I, for once, am happy to not have any trips in my immediate future. [Read more…]
