Creamy Vegan Avocado Ranch Dressing
This Vegan Avocado Ranch Dressing is easy to make in less than 5 minutes in the blender! This healthy ranch dressing is made with all dairy-free ingredients and has no mayo. It’s perfect as a salad dressing or dipping sauce for all of your favorite veggies.
Where are all my avocado lovers at?! And the ranch dressing lovers?? I know there’s a lot of you individually…and combined, I know this vegan avocado ranch dressing will knock all of your socks off, and make your salads and grain bowls better than ever. I first had it when I made this vegan BLT salad and it blew me away. We used the extra to dip veggies in all week, and it’s now a house staple.
I grew up as someone who didn’t love creamy dressings. I always preferred vinaigrettes. But this avocado ranch dressing is majorly changed my mind~ I want to dip everything in it, and drizzle it on all the things. If you’re a ranch lover, I hope you absolutely adore this recipe. I’m sure you’ll find TONS of ways to use it!
All the ways to use this avocado ranch dressing
We love a salad dressing that can do double or triple duty! This avocado ranch has so many other ways to be devoured beyond just as a salad dressing. Here are some of my favorites:
- Use it as a salad dressing
- Dipping pizza crust (yum!)
- Use it as a crudités dip
- Drizzle on tacos or fajitas
- On a grain bowl
Can you make dairy-free ranch dressing?
Yes, you absolutely can! This ranch dressing is entirely vegan and has no mayo. Vegan mayo does exist, but I’m not a mayo fan so I never have it around, and thankfully, between the avocado and the dairy-free yogurt, you certainly don’t need it to make a great mayo-free ranch dressing!
How to store vegan ranch dressing
To store: place in a mason jar or container with a tightly fitted lid. It will keep for up to 5 days. It may thicken in the fridge – if this happens, use a bit of dairy-free milk or water to thin it out to your preferred texture.

Description
This Vegan Avocado Ranch Dressing is easy to make in less than 5 minutes in the blender! This healthy ranch dressing is made with all dairy-free ingredients and has no mayo. It’s perfect as a salad dressing or dipping sauce for all of your favorite veggies.
Ingredients
-
1 medium ripe avocado
-
½ cup dairy-free yogurt, I like a thick plain coconut yogurt like Culina
-
¾ cup unsweetened almond milk, see Notes
-
1 tablespoon lemon juice
-
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
-
1 garlic clove
-
½ teaspoon sea salt
-
2 tablespoons fresh dill or 1 tablespoon dried dill
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients for the dressing in a blender container, except the dill. Blend until smooth and pourable (add more milk if needed to get to the right consistency), and then add in the fresh dill. Pulse to incorporate slightly, but not blend in completely.
- Use immediately or place in the fridge until ready to use. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Notes
You can adjust the amount of dairy-free milk you add to change the texture. Use less to keep it thick as a dip, or add more to thin it out for drizzling or tossing with salads.
Just made this, enjoying it on my spinach salad.
This is wonderful! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
So glad you’re loving it, Brenda!
Can you tell me the blender you use for your dressings?
Hi Dan, I use the Beast Blender with the small container for my dressings!
