Bakerita’s Top 14 Recipes of 2014
We’re onto the final couple days of 2014, and I’m still reeling that this year’s already almost at it’s end. This time last year, I was getting off the plane in London, starting my semester abroad. The first six months of my 2014 were spent traveling to over 12 different countries, and even more cities, all over Europe, with a brief stint in Africa. I couldn’t have asked for a more incredible, insightful, exciting, stimulating semester. My time spent abroad was unlike any other time in my life, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
The second half of my year was spent back in Washington, completing the first semester of my last year in school. It’s surreal that I only have one semester left of college. Well really, of school. Ever. In my whole life.
I remember being a kid, I couldn’t wait until I was a senior in college. No more school! No more homework! Woohoo! Now…those exciting thoughts seem a lot more terrifying. But, instead of reflecting on the scary parts of the future, I want to reflect on the most delicious parts of this past year.
Today, I’m sharing with you the top 14 recipes of 2014. These recipes have stolen your hearts and your stomachs, and made their way into your kitchens. Nothing makes me happier than getting comments about how my treats turned out for you, or checking out the #bakerita hashtag on Instagram to see your renditions of my recipes. Here’s the best of the best, let me know what your favorites of the year were!
I wish each and everyone one of your the best 2015 possible, and hope that you’re having a wonderful holiday season. I’m so thankful for all of you who take the time to stop by, check out a recipe, leave a comment, and become a part of my life. Truly, you mean the world to me! Happy New Year!
