This simple recipe is gluten-free & vegan.***2017 Update*** Oh, Blueberry Crisp Tart – you’re a major favorite. Since I first posted this recipe back in 2014, before I started my senior year of college, it’s been very well loved. I get pretty regular feedback on this tart, and I always want to reshare it, but the old photos did NOT do this incredible tart justice.

I took the opportunity of having too many blueberries in the fridge to remake this old favorite and make it look a little prettier :) it got devoured in about 24 hours in my fridge, and I don’t suspect it will last much longer in yours 😉 it’s a must try, for sure. I left the original post below (for nostalgia’s sake), but the recipe is true to the original. Enjoy! [Read more…]

If you hang around here, you know I make ALLLL the nut butters these days, but this Maple Almond Butter was the FIRST flavored nut butter I ever made at home. It’s just as delicious as I remembered it being, with the maple syrup adding just enough sweetness and the seeds adding extra texture and nutrition. All the goodness, right there! These post below is left just as it went up six years ago…enjoy my seventeen year old self.  [Read more…]

Let’s talk about my favorite childhood dessert for a minute: Magic Cookie Bars. Also known as Seven Layer Bars or Hello Dolly Bars, these pieces of chewy, chocolatey dessert art are truly delicious and are remembered with great fondness by all who have tried them.

I really don’t know that I’ve ever had someone not love them. The combination of so many delicious things thrown on top of a buttery graham cracker crust and topped with sweetened condensed milk just really can’t end up as anything but insanely delicious. [Read more…]

I was a weird little kid. Not saying I’m exactly normal now, but when I was really little, I thought I was already old and wise. I would say the most ridiculous insightful things that my parents would always say I was an old soul because there was no way a four year old would say things like I did. [Read more…]

I’ve been having a lot of fun remaking some of my old recipes that I think could use a little *erm* refresh, shall we say. Some of my older recipes are definitely outstanding, while the pictures representing the recipes were far from it.

This recipe was originally posted back in January of 2014, when I had first arrived to London for my semester abroad. Remembering that first week, I barely remember getting sick, and just remember how much freaking FUN I had on my semester abroad. Oh, nostalgia…these cookies, too, are still totally outstanding. I don’t like erasing old posts…soooo, here’s the original (pictures replaced, except for one) from 2014! [Read more…]
