I’ve been making these frozen caramel banana bars since last summer, when I first dreamt up this recipe. I’ve been testing it since, with different types of caramel and different versions of crust, trying to get it just right for you guys. 

It had to happen this summer, because I can’t give you guys frozen treats when it’s cold out…though that would definitely make them easier to photograph. I’ve been on a major oatmeal kick recently! Since I did Whole30, my go-to breakfast has changed a bit. I used to eat Greek yogurt with berries and granola pretty much every single morning.

After coming off Whole30 though, I’m realizing that dairy might not be my best friend. It tends to disrupt my stomach, and I’ve been generally feeling better when I avoid dairy. Which is a huge bummer (goodbye ice cream and cheese), but I’m making do so far. [Read more…]

Hey! I’m doing another recipe update of a recipe that was posted a while back, but deserves some new photos and some new love – I did keep the post written below the same though, for nostalgia’s sake 😊. These Paleo Banana Blueberry Muffins definitely fit the bill to get a makeover – they’re a favorite of a whole bunch of readers, and they’re so darn delicious.

Sooo, last weekend, I finished my first Whole30! And to be honest, it wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be – I learned a lot about my food habits, and also managed to change a lot of them for the better.

I feel a little bit spoiled because since I work from home, meal prepping wasn’t as necessary for me as it is for so many people.
